your privacy
what happens to what you give us.
You are being asked to upload a document with your name and address on it. That deserves a straight answer, not a policy page.
if you type your details in
Nothing leaves your browser. The entire calculation runs on your own device in JavaScript. No figure you type is transmitted to us, to Crown Money, or to anyone else. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will still work.
if you upload a document
The file goes to a function that does exactly this, and stops:
- Receives the file into memory.
- Sends it to Anthropic’s Claude API to read the numbers off it.
- Returns those numbers to your browser.
- Discards everything.
There is no database. The file is never written to disk. Its contents are never written to a log. When the request ends, it is gone.
we deliberately don’t extract your identity
The extraction is limited by design to a short list of fields: premium, previous premium, excess, sums insured, insurer brand, and state. Your name, address, policy number, date of birth and vehicle registration are not extracted, not returned, and not retained. They are not in the schema, so there is nothing identifying to leak even in transit.
no account, no tracking, no list
- No sign-up, no email address, no account.
- You will not be contacted as a result of using this tool.
- Your details are not added to any marketing list.
- No advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking.
the one third party
Uploaded documents are processed by Anthropic (the Claude API) purely to read the figures. If you would rather no third party see the document at all, use the manual entry form instead — it never leaves your device, and produces exactly the same result.
Crown Money’s general privacy policy covers the wider business and is atcrownmoney.com.au/privacy. This page describes this tool specifically. If anything here is unclear, ask us at[email protected].
